IGN is reporting on a possible replacement for everyone’s much loved (well, by a lot of people) E3 event. IDG (Internationail Data Group) will hold the event, called Game Pro Expo, at the Los Angeles Convention Center (E3’s old stomping grounds) on October 18th – 20th, 2007.

At this time, I could not find an official release on IDG’s website for futher confirmation.
